Quiet Village

For the last few days construction has been in full swing on more putz houses, this time a group of green village cottages. Above, a shot of my work table with the group freshly painted and assembled . The next step is adding fences and trees, then snow. In a short time they'll look like this:

  1. Oh, wow! You are into Putz houses. I have tons of the old tiny ones... I mean TONS! I am going to sell them in my booth at an antiques mall probably starting in early November. I bought them all at one time. I meant to use them but I have run out of places to put them since I also have Dept. 56 Snow Villages. My grandchildren have not been here for the Christmas season in a long time so it's hardly worth it to take the time to put them up.
    I just love them.
I'm going to enjoy looking at your houses. They look wonderful! Lots of work there.

  3. These are looking really cute! I can just imagine how magical it looks with them all lit up.
Don't ya' just love those battery operated tea lights? I have several & use them often especially when the g'kidlets are underfoot. Good job!!

  4. These are AMAZING! I can't imagine the patience it must take to create them.

Thanks so much for visiting and your comments on my cherub post today. I know I take my chances writing about my faith, that some people will roll their eyes and shake their heads, but I gotta be true to my feelings!

I'm hoping to blog about the journal tomorrow. I'm still so excited I won!

    Take Care,
    Jill
